Book signing / 4th December 2011

The exhibition will conclude on 4 December with the launch of Luminous Icons, a monograph of Steven Scott’s work, published by Hirmer Verlag. Steven will be there to sign copies of the book from 12:00 to 3:00pm on Sunday 4th December.

In the book, New York art historian Robert C. Morgan offers a contextual analysis of Steven Scott's works, locating them alongside Modern pioneers such as Kandinsky, Rothko and Barnett Newman.

Richly illustrated with photography by Adam Mørk and Matthew McConnell, Luminous Icons documents a body of work ranging fromSeventy Seven – the vast, seven-storey light art installation that forms the central atrium of Deloitte’s Copenhagen headquarters – to more recent works that function in smaller, private spaces.
